Within the Indo-Pacific strategic framework, this area tracks the military deployments of the U.S., Japan, Australia, and key European nations. We focus on analyzing substantive actions, including advanced weaponry transfers, defense technology authorizations, and multilateral security mechanisms such as AUKUS and QUAD.
Beyond official procurement, our research examines the deepening ties between Taiwan and these external powers, specifically in "quasi-alliance" practical cooperation such as intelligence sharing, tactical joint exercises, and logistics support agreements. By establishing dynamic force-balance models, we evaluate how these collaborations contribute to Taiwan’s deterrence, assisting in the acquisition of strategic leverage to safeguard national sovereignty.
