Taiwan’s position in the global technology landscape, particularly within the semiconductor supply chain, represents both a vulnerability and a security guarantee. This area focuses on the ripple effects of the Taiwan Strait situation on global supply chains, analyzing the practical value of the "Silicon Shield" in modern deterrence.

We study the shifting dependencies of major powers on Taiwan’s supply chain and evaluate the impact of "de-risking" policies on Taiwan's economic resilience. Furthermore, we explore how Taiwan can leverage its advantages in advanced manufacturing, biomedicine, and green energy to integrate with global value chains, converting economic strength into strategic leverage for national security.
