Under increasingly restrictive international political conditions, Taiwan’s "soft power" through civil society has become a vital flank of national security. TSSA researches diplomatic strategies involving NGOs, semi-official institutions, and civil society.
We analyze how Taiwan utilizes medical assistance, technological cooperation, disaster relief, and cultural exchange to build a "community of democratic values" that transcends traditional diplomatic frameworks. Our research prioritizes evaluating the mobilization capacity of these informal channels during crises and how enhanced international social support can be converted into substantive strategic backing, reinforcing Taiwan’s image as an indispensable global partner.
